Family Night

For family night last night we headed to...
The place is amazing and has some really cool things. Justin and Ryan wasted no time and got right to the shooting range game.
Oh, and Mommy too.
Don't tell anyone, but I got more points than Justin!!!
We also checked out the waterfall that had a ton of fish in the pond as well as all of the animals that were all throughout the store.
We then headed home for some ice cream cones.
We even let Austin have his first taste.

Big Wheel = Big Boy

Ryan begged Daddy all last week to put his new big wheel, which Nana and Papa got him for his birthday, together. The week was crazy, to say the least, so they finally got to it on Sunday, and Ryan took it for a spin yesterday. He loved it! He just needs to grow a little bit more so he can reach the pedals a little better. He kept saying, "My flag is flying in the wind!" He was so excited about that!
Thank you Papa and Nana!

"Trunk-or-Treat"

We did it! We hit 100 posts chronicling the last year and a half in the Drinkwater household.
Last night we headed to the ward "Trunk-or-Treat" party. It was a blast!
The boys all ready for some fun!
Austin, my little "Chunky Monkey!"
Ryan, I mean "Buzz Lightyear!"
Mommy and Austin waiting for dinner.
Daddy and the boys ready to eat!
Ryan tried "cottom candy" for the first time. He wasn't too sure about it until I told him it was turning his tongue blue. He then loved it!
Austin watching everyone else eat.
Ryan had fun decorating cookies...
and trying to beat Daddy in the donut eating contest!
Little cheeseball!
Here we are with our winning decorated trunk. That's right 1st place baby! And Justin of course had to let everybody know about it! What you can't see is the strobe light, spider lights, and the scary music. Ryan was even afraid to go by his favorite sweet ride.
And yes, we carved the pumpkins! Payton and Austin, the two little monkey's!
Ryan and EJ, the superheroes!
And who can forget Kris and Jake, or should I say "Wonderwoman" and "Flash!"

Ryan's 3rd Birthday!

Ryan turned 3 this weekend, so we had a lot of fun festivities to celebrate. We started off the party by going to Uncle Trevor's football game on Friday night!
Ryan then woke up to his favorite breakfast, WAFFLES!!!
After breakfast, we headed off to the Band Spectacular Parade in Loomis. It is held every year when the Del Oro band has it's Spectacular competition. Ryan's favorite thing is the band, so it was fitting that it fell on his birthday this year so we could go.
Getting ready for the fun!
Ryan and Aunt Aubrey.
Ryan and Austin, sweet boys!
While we were waiting for the parade to start, Aunt Karen and Jessica marched in a "parade" of their own. They marched with their "Yes on 8" sign and then stuck into their chairs. It was hilarious!
Ryan enjoying the show!
We then headed back to Nana and Papa's house and Daddy took Ryan for a ride on his "quad!"
He also got to play on Papa's tractor.
We then headed off to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm. Up first, the train ride.
Ryan rode between Uncle Trev and Aunt Aubs!
After the train, my sweet boys wanted to check out the "Big Punkins!"
Ryan in the "punkin!"
Ryan then was the "condecter" of the play train. Taking Uncle for a ride.
Next, the hay trampoline! Taking a break for some carmel apple.
Off to the hay ride!
Ryan found one!! "This one's just wight fo me!"
All of us with our pumpkins!
All Austin wanted to do was eat the stem or the hay!
After we got home from the "Punkin Patch," we had some friends and family over for presents, cake and ice cream.
Our friends the Naven's gave Ryan this cool card that sings when you open it. All of the boys had the greatest time dancing. They would stop when I closed the card, and start again when I would open it.
Opening his "garbage truck" from Mommy, Daddy and Austin. Just what he had asked for.
Opening his "Big Wheel" from Nana and Papa. He can't wait for us to get it put together.
Ryan had a great birthday, and has enjoyed sharing all of his new toys with his baby brother.
