The week after...

The week after Christmas we spent our time in Loomis at Nana and Papa's house. Since everyone was home from college, it was nice to be with the whole family!
We enjoyed playing Band Hero...
...hanging out together... ...playing with the train... ...meeting a funky chicken... ...and even celebrated our 8 year anniversary!!! I can't believe that we have been married for 8 years! This summer it will be 10 years since Justin and I met! Time certainly flies! We've survived college (twice), parenthood (of 2 little rascals), career highs (and lows), and so much more! We can't wait to see where life takes us and what else we will be blessed with!

After some food and fun, we all gather together to open presents and have a gift exchange! Ryan was so excited about his remote control Jeep and his Hungry Hungry Hippos game! Austin loved his airplanes and his Chuck the Truck, although you can't tell by the expression on his face! Thank you hugs for Addie! Playing with their new toys!!! My favorite part of the Holidays is all of the time we get to spend with our family!!! We are so grateful for them and all that they do for us!

Our Christmas!!!

We had an AMAZING Christmas!!! This year was sooo much fun with our boys! They both understand Santa and presents, yet understand the meaning of Christmas and can tell you that we are celebrating Jesus' birth. They are truly our joy!
Santa definitely visited our house on Christmas Eve!!!
Ryan and Austin were up nice and early to check out their stockings! After seeing what Santa left in our stockings, we enjoyed a yummy breakfast... ...before we got to the presents!!! They were so excited to see what one another got and wanted to open everything and play with it right away! I made the boys these blankets for Christmas, and they were so cute when they opened them. They immediately climbed under them and wanted to stay for a while! We saved the presents from Santa for last, and the boys were dying to get the big one open! Santa brought us a new trampoline!!! Ry and Austin loved all of their presents and we had so much fun watching them open them and seeing the joy in their faces! Now we need a completed backyard to put this in! (Hint..Hint Dad!!!) After a couple hours of fun, we loaded into the van and headed to Nana and Papa's house to be with my family!
Ryan, Austin and Tyler in front of the Christmas tree! Now with Nana and Papa! Austin had fun helping Papa pass out the presents! Next up... Great Papa and Great Grandma's Schmidt's house!!!
We all had a lot of fun visiting with family and playing with cousins! Nathan and Ryan had a lot of fun together! They started a band which was really cute. Nathan played the Christmas songs he knew on the piano, and Ryan joined in on his new trumpet!

'Twas the week of Christmas...

and all through the Drinkwater's house,
lots of creatures were stirring, even the mouse!!!
Hehe! We've had a fun week getting ready for Christmas!!! We had a visit from these adorable faces...
...plus Natalie, Trevor and Megan! We were supposed to spend the day baking, but spent it at Bass Pro Shop instead...
So Tyler could meet the Man in Red!!! The boys were thrilled to jump into the picture!!! Later that night we went to dinner at Red Robin and to see "Yogi Bear" to celebrate Justin's 32nd birthday!!! We had a lot of fun together! Happy Birthday! We love you so much!!!Today we enjoyed some Chili's for lunch... ...and ran off to the bowling alley as we have the past few years, only to find it closing early since it was slow. We were disappointed, but ran to the movie theatre to watch "Tangled" instead. It was adorable!!!
Now as we prepare for bed on this Christmas Eve, we want to wish you a very
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
