Already changing!

Austin is officially 2 weeks old now, and he already seems to be changing every day.

It happens too fast!

Ryan has been such a great big brother and so far has handled the addition of Austin surprisingly well. He loves holding Austin (although Austin doesn't appear to enjoy it much), and giving him kisses. Every time he says, "Oh so nice!"

I am truly blessed to have such a beautiful family!

Let's go fly a kite...

Ryan loves choo choo trains, epecially Thomas. He has been just as spoiled as Austin and got a Thomas the Train kite as a big brother gift. It has been plenty windy here for him to fly it, and he thinks that it's the greatest thing in the world.

Ryan's other favorite past time has been helping Daddy in the "back ard."

Weight: 6 lbs. 14 oz.

Length: 18 1/2 inches

We are so happy to have Austin here! He was born at 36 weeks gestation and had a rough start to his life. Some respiratory distress and immature lungs called for an 8 day stay at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Of course, we had a very difficult time running back and forth from home to the hospital, but are truly grateful for the support and help of family and great friends.
