Seattle Aquarium!!!

This post is long, so I apologize in advance. But, I have to document everything that happened and post all of the adorable pictures I took so that it will be printed in the book I plan to make someday.
Last Friday, while in Washington, we spent the day on the waterfront of the Puget Sound and went to the Seattle Aquarium!
Right when you walk in there is a huge, floor to ceiling, wall to wall aquarium full of ocean life. It is amazing! The boys ran right up to take a peek!
We soon found out that it was "Octopus Week" and that there would be divers in the tank with one in moments. So we took a seat...
and enjoyed the show!Next, we made our way to the tide pools area where we could reach in and touch the sea creatures. Ryan reached right in and was touching anything and everything he could! But, Austin didn't really want anything to do with them. Auntie Sunne got him to reach in a few times, but she was the only one! Scary, they are only as big as the Shark's tail!
As we walked through, Austin and Piper found the felt board and made an underwater picture with Grandma! We continued on and found our favorite fishies in the whole place...
Dori, Nemo and Marlin!!! We walked outside across the bridge towards the seals and snapped a picture of Grandpa Ben and Grandma Patti with all three of the kiddos, Dawson slept the entire time. Look at the sea otters!!! The boys with the seal!
Ryan with the fish all around him!
After our fun at the aquarium, we walked down the waterfront to get some lunch. Justin and Ry by the fisherman!
Austin, Piper and Ryan by the Penguin. This was funny because they were all in love with the penguins they had just gotten in their happy meals.
We had a ton of fun in Seattle at the aquarium and by the waterfront. It was a beautiful and sunny day in Seattle and we can't wait to go back for another!

A day at the park...

During our visit in Washington we spent Thursday at the park by Grandpa and Grandma's house. On our way there we stopped by to feed the horses across the street!
Austin ready to go and counting, "One, two, one, two!!!"
Swinging Monkey!!!
Ryan was entranced by the giant excavator working hard right by the park to prepare the lots to be built upon.
Where's Austin and Piper?!?
Peek-a-boo!!!
This was so cute and lasted for a few minutes until Piper wanted to hug Austin and he wanted none of it! What a little stinker!Spending time at the park together was a lot of fun!

Seattle Children's Museum

During our trip we spent Wednesday in Seattle at the Children's Museum. I had never been to one before, but had heard they were fun for the kids, so we were excited to do something new! We went with Auntie Sunne, Piper, Dawson and Grandma and had a lot of fun!!!
The kiddies climbing through the whale right as we got to the museum!
The boys first had to try out all of the different vehicles! Driving the fire truck!
Then Austin went for a ride on the bus, and enjoyed it a little more...
while Ryan took all of the kids for a cruise!
Next stop for Austin was the grocery store! Getting some food...
So excited to pay for it! I don't know about you, but I never have this much enthusiasm during this part of grocery shopping!?!
Piper had fun too while Grandma helped out!
While the little one's did some shopping, Ryan and Daddy did some building!
The tongue out while he concentrates! Love it!!!
Their most favorite place was the little restaurant! They loved it! Especially serving food through the drive-through window!
After all of the fun we headed to the food court for some good food...
then outside to enjoy the chilly Seattle air!
Ryan and Piper wanted to get up close to the fountain, even though we were getting soaked thanks to the wind!
I had to take the classic Space Needle picture while we headed back to the car!!!
Thank you Sunne for getting us into the Children's Museum!!! We had a great time!
Coming up next! A day at the park!!!

Last week...

we went to WASHINGTON!!!
We hadn't been since last July, and the boys were really missing their Aunties, Uncles, and cousins. Since Ryan had the week off of preschool and Grandma Patti, Tanner and Harrison did as well, we decided to make the trip up for a much needed visit! We spent the first night reacquainting by playing the Wii...
playing together in the playroom...
and reading books together!!!
I love this one of Piper and Austin!!!
Auntie Kirstin made the boys some adorable pirate outfits and gave them these fun swords! Austin loved being a pirate...
as did Ryan! He of course had to test it out on Harrison!
Thank you Auntie!!! The boys LOVE their new toys and outfits!!!
The next night Grandma, Ryan, Austin and I went to watch...
Grandpa Ben play volleyball and Justin got to join the team for the night!
They had a lot of fun together and nearly beat the #1 team in the league!!!
Ryan also discovered Grandpa's airplane in the garage and begged to fly it! It's too complicated for him to do, but Grandpa, Ryan and Justin got to spend an afternoon out flying the airplane!
This is just the beginning of the fun we had on our trip, so check back later to see what other fun we had!
