Happy Halloween!!!

What would Halloween be without some pumpkin carving?!? It wouldn't be, so we had a great time carving ours! All ready to go!
While Justin was off finding some ideas for his pumpkin, the boys and I got started on ours!
Austin surprised me and wasn't really that into getting dirty and would whine until every little string was wiped off of his hands and fingers. Ryan, on the other hand, remembered exactly what to do and got to it! Once we had the pumpkins gutted, Austin decided that each seed should be put back one by one! Too funny!
Daddy's finished product!
Does it look like The Joker from Batman to you?!
Mine and the boys, although you can't see their very well!
We hope everyone has a happy and safe Halloween!!!

Last Week!

Wow! We have been really busy these last few weeks, and I haven't had time to update you all! Last Thursday we got together with our playgroup from church for some fun at the pumpkin patch!
My two little monkey's had a great time with all of their little buddies!
Then, on Friday, we headed up to beautiful Loomis...
to enjoy the Del Oro High School Homecoming Parade! I think we've gone every year since Ryan was born, and I of course went regularly as a youth!
Austin was so happy once he found his Papa!
Ryan was so happy once the band marched through town!
Uncle Trev was on the Senior's float, but you won't see him since he's laying down making the elephant move!
Auntie Aubrey on the Sophomore float! (And all of the kids who kept standing in front of us to try and catch the candy despite our many attempts at asking them to move down)! That night was also Senior Night for the football team, band and cheerleaders! Mom and Dad got to go down and escort Trevor as he was recognized!
All of the Seniors as captains!
Then, we got to enjoy the big game (in which we creamed Roseville)! After the game we had to snap some pictures, like we always do! But, this week we took some different shots! Ashley, Mom, Aubrey and I all posing with our #81 game day shirts and our favorite #81!
Me, Ashley, Trevor, Dad, Mom and Aubrey! My family minus Natalie and Megan! Justin was busy holding a sleeping Ryan and Steve was taking the picture!
We then turned around and made the 1 1/2 hour drive home, but had a really fun two days!!!

Ryan's Birthday Weekend!!!

I can't believe my sweet Ryan is already four! I still haven't come to grips with the fact that life continues to go on, my kiddos are getting older and bigger and I have no control over it and no way to stop it! So, I must take the advice of my parent's and enjoy it while it lasts!
Ryan's birthday seemed to extend throughout the entire weekend. It started on Friday with his preschool class! We made these cookies together and he took them to share with his class where they sang to him and he got a sticker!
We ended up celebrating Ryan's birthday on Saturday! Nana brought him home some yummy donuts which he and Uncle Trev enjoyed together!
He had a fun morning playing on the go cart and helping take care of the animals. The he and Mommy had a lunch date. He got to pick the place and selected Denny's!
After a little power nap we headed off to the pumpkin patch! This had become a tradition for Ryan's birthday weekend so he's been asking for weeks when we were going to go. The first thing we did was hit the train ride!
These cute little stinkers had such a good time! After a fun ride, we had some fun playing... ...and feeding the animals... ...before we headed off on the hayride... ...to pick our pumpkins! The boys were so proud of their pumpkins! Ryan almost fell asleep on his pumpkin... ...but we had more fun in store for him!!! PRESENTS!!! And CAKE!!! He loves all of his new toys! Thank you everyone!!!

Happy Birthday Ryan! We hope you had a fun day!!!
