Memory Tag

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

The evening's events...

Tonight we ran all or our errands to prepare for our trip and to get some things that I needed for my classroom. After that, Justin had to go to mutual, so the boys and I went outside to take care of some things. Ryan had to first try out his new Diego sprinkler. He would say, "Diego riding his jet ski! He's tired!" because he was spinning so fast.

"Ready, Set, Go!"

Austin enjoyed playing with his toys as he has discovered how to use his hands.

Happy Boy!

We then headed out front to water the plants. Ryan has become quite the little gardener watering and weeding the planter beds.

Elder Jarvis

This past weekend we went up to Loomis for my cousin Cameron's mission farewell. They moved from Utah on Wednesday, and he spoke in their new ward on Sunday. He's off to serve the people of Portland, Oregon.

Elder Jarvis & Austin

Ryan enjoyed playing with his cousins. Especially when they played Hide-and-Seek.

He also made sure Grandpa got all of his vegetables. He would dip them and then take them to Grandpa and say "This one's for you."

Good Luck Cam! We love you and we know you will be an awesome missionary!

today I was a young 18 year old getting ready for my first day of college. I was sitting with my new roommates outside of the Taylor building on the then Ricks College campus watching the sunset after ward prayer, when out came 4 guys. One caught my eye right away. We talked for about an hour and they then came to our house that night, and the next, and the next and so on.

Fast forward one year!
6 years ago today that guy and I got engaged at the drive-in in Rexburg, ID. We went to Sonic for dinner with my roommates and some friends who were visiting from California. He made a movie they played on the big screen for everyone to see. They then projected the proposal up as well. It was awesome!
7 years ago my life changed forever! I love you Justin, and I am so grateful for the 7 years we've known each other and been together and I look forward to eternity with you!

Drinkwater Update!

I thought I'd update everybody on the events of our little family.

Ryan is now completely potty trained. YEAHHHHH!!! He can even go the whole night in his undies with no accidents. He is getting so big and talking ALL the time. He is even saying the prayers with no help. They are the cutest prayers ever! He is Mommy's little helper and loves helping take care of Austin. He's Daddy's helper too, although he just makes bigger messes when helping Daddy, as evidence from this picture.

Austin is growing every day. He weighed in last week for his 4 month checkup at 15 lbs. 15 oz. and was 26 inches long. He's becoming quite the little chunk. He smiles and coos the day away throwing some naps in here and there. Austin's fingers are constantly in his mouth as he is teething already, but he just keeps smiling through it. He rolled over for the first time, but doesn't want to do it much. He'd rather plant his feet and push himself forward. He may crawl before he rolls consistently.

Mommy went back to work last Tuesday, at a new school, and cried the whole day. Luckily it's only on Tuesday's and Thursday's. We are truly blessed to have such a WONDERFUL childcare provider who loves our boys so much!

Daddy has been working hard on the backyard, playing with his new toys, going to scout camp, playing with his new toys, working hard at the office, playing with his new toys, and spending time with his boys.

We're counting down until our trip to what we consider the Happiest Place on Earth, LAKE POWELL!!! Only 1 week, 2 days, and 21 hours!

Zoo!!!

While we were in Washington we visited the Point Defiance Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa. It's a beautiful zoo overlooking the Puget Sound. We had a great time and got to see a lot of different animals.
Mommy and Austin ready for some fun!
We first went and saw the Walrus.
Here he comes...

AHHHHHHHH!!!!!

He swam right up in front of Ryan and he freaked out and pushed himself away from the glass screaming.

Beluga Whales

Look at the monkey.

Grandpa and Austin enjoyed the monkeys too.

ElephantsOff to the Aquarium.

Yeah, that's a SHARK!!!

We had a great time and kept our smiling faces on!

The cutest one of all!!!

Justin's new toys...

Well, as I previously posted, we made it home with a new toy. Two new toys actually.
After much "debating," Justin got a new jet ski. He's been wanting one for a long time and with our Lake Powell trip coming up (in 2 weeks, 3 days, 2 hours, and 45 minutes to be exact), he finally got what he wanted. Ben also gave Justin his old motorcycle. (Thank you!)

I'm sure that I'll be giving you all a hospital visit update later! HAHA!!!

4th of July Fun!

For the week of the fourth we went to Washington to visit our family. We had such a great time and enjoyed our visit, as we always do! Justin's sister Kirstin and brother-in-law William live right on the water and have a beautiful home. This is of course where we spent most of our time as my family is full of fish, a big one and a little one.

View from the back porch!
View of the house from the dock!
We always celebrate with great food... fun...

and fireworks! Harrison, Ryan & Tanner getting ready!

Grandpa and Ryan driving the boat!

Austin hanging out with Auntie Kirstin!

Daddy and Ryan kayaking.

Playing with Daddy's new toy (check back later for a post regarding this)!

We had a great time and enjoyed the cooler weather! We can't wait until next year to do it again! We love you all!
