Mexico Trip

This December Justin and I will celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary! We can't believe it has been that long, yet it's flown by! We got a voucher for a free 7 day stay in Cancun, Mexico a while back and had to use it by the end of June, so we planned out trip for April-May and called it our 10 year anniversary trip. WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME!!! We've never been anywhere or done anything like this before, so this trip was much anticipated, deserved, and enjoyed!
The entry of our resort!

We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo all to ourselves! It was amazing!!! We invited a ton of people to come, but no one could, so we enjoyed it with just the 2 of us! The kitchen!
The living space!
Our room!
Bathroom and vanity!
We got to the resort late at night and got straight to bed. The next morning we woke up in time to catch the taxi to Wal-Mart! Let me just say that the Wal-Mart experience is 10 fold in Mexico! We did some shopping and checked out the town of Playa Del Carmen!
We did a little bit of shopping in this cute little shop down the street. Loved bargaining for the best deal!
Our first glimpse of the Caribbean...
and it is GORGEOUS!!!
After getting our shopping done and doing some exploring, we headed back to the resort to check out the pool and beach! We had to walk down this path to get to the pool and beach area where the cabanas are and several restaurants!
 The pool!
  The beach!!!
It was so much fun spending time with just the two of us! This almost never happens with 2 little rug rats!
It was soooo nice just hanging out on the beach and reading a book...
 and playing beach volleyball!
 Such a stud!!!
Our only complaint about our resort was that the beach was rocky and had a lot of coral. This made it difficult to walk right out into the ocean and enjoy the water. We found out if we walked 5-10 minutes down the beach there was a resort with great beaches, so we made the trek! And we were not disappointed!!!

We had the best time and can't wait to share more of what we did and saw!!!

More T-Ball

Ryan had a blast playing T-Ball this year and can't wait to move up to Farm next year! He adored his coaches and the friends he made on his team!
His first at-bat without the tee!
 And there it goes!!!
He was so excited that Nana and Papa were there to watch!
One of Ryan's favorite positions to play was catcher! And he did a great job at it!
He didn't mind playing outfield all that much either! Running after the ball and tackling your friends for it was a lot of fun I guess!
Of course he found some time to goof off for us and be his silly old self!
Ryan was BEYOND EXCITED when he got the game ball!
The T-Ball A's had a GREAT season and a lot of fun! We are hoping to get these boys on a team together again next year!

Easter Weekend- Part 2

While we were at the cabin we dyed some Easter eggs. Ryan was definitely not going to let me get away without doing this.

After some fun at the cabin, we headed back to Nana and Papa's house so we could enjoy church on Easter Sunday, and of course so that the Easter Bunny could find us!

 Sharing their goodies!
In the evening we enjoyed Easter festivities at Uncle Tim and Aunt Sarah's house with the family. It was a lot of fun!

 Easter Egg Hunt!!!

We had a great Easter and enjoyed the spirit of the day as we worshiped our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and reflected on the great atonement and his Resurrection. It was fun this year as Austin began to learn and remember that Jesus died on the cross for us and was resurrected on Easter. What a great reminder from an innocent child!
