We had an amazing Thanksgiving and hope that you did too! For the first time in a while by family broke tradition and stayed home for Thanksgiving, home being my Mom and Dad's house in Loomis. We had a fun group with Justin's parents Ben and Patti visiting from Washington, and my sister Megan's future in-laws. We had a great time!
Ryan was really excited for his Grandpa and Grandma to get there for the fun. He has been looking forward to it for months and has been asking when Thanksgiving was!

After they got there, Ryan and Austin had to show them around Nana and Papa's house, so we ended up at Austin's favorite spot, THE MANDARIN ORCHARD!!!

Austin would eat these things for every meal if I would let him, but I would then be changing a lot of diapers. We then settled down after a bit and had a fantastic feast enjoying the thing we're most thankful for, OUR FAMILY!!!

...a goat named Gertie who liked sucking on his finger...
...and ride a horse named Buck! I asked the girls if that was any indication of what the horse likes to do, but they didn't think I was funny!
After all of the animal fun we headed off to make butter, which required A LOT of shaking!!!
...through the beautiful orchard behind the church where Ryan's preschool is!
Next, the carnival games!!!
Then into the barn...
...for some cow milking fun!
At the end of the day we got to pick a pumpkin and head home!!!

On our way!!!
Austin LOVED it!!! He figured it all out, I say "trick-or-treat," you give me candy! Up to one of the houses!
They would wait so patiently!!!

and the donut eating contest!
