Over President's Day weekend we enjoyed some quality family time! We were given some tickets to enjoy Disney on Ice, and we had a GREAT time!!!
Hi Minnie!
The show followed the Toy Story 3 storyline and was very cute!
We were all in
agreeance (sp?) that this was our favorite part!
The main reason we headed up to
Loomis was to attend cousin Luke's mission farewell! He is such a fun young man full of life and excitement! He will be an amazing missionary in Ohio!!! Ryan and Austin were sad to see him go. They know Luke well since he's so close in age to Uncle Trevor, so we spent a lot of time with the two of them together. So proud of him and the choice he's made to serve our Father in Heaven!
On Monday we decided to take
advantage of the beautiful weather and go for a hike to Hidden Falls!
The hike was 2 miles of beautiful Gold Country terrain! Trigger got his first tasted of our outdoor adventures!
Ryan and Papa found this! It was so cool! Our best guess was that it was a
firepit or something used by the Native Americans a long time ago. It was covered with vines and was built with rocks right on the side of the creek.
We finally found them! There sure were hidden! :-)
Megan and Ashley decided to take a closer look and hiked down to the waters edge!
Yes, we've become those people who take a picture with their dog!
Lol!
Ryan was into throwing rocks into the water, and got tricky by throwing them behind and through his legs! Wow!
Austin wanted sticks and needed to hit everything with them, while growling might I add.
We had so much fun enjoying nature and time with the
fam bam! Don't you worry, we have plans to head back this summer and actually enjoy swimming in the water!
