Mexico Trip

BE PREPARED FOR MULTIPLE POST WITH TONS OF PICTURES!

This December Justin and I will celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary! We can't believe it has been that long, yet it's flown by! We got a voucher for a free 7 day stay in Cancun, Mexico a while back and had to use it by the end of June, so we planned out trip for April-May and called it our 10 year anniversary trip. WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME!!! We've never been anywhere or done anything like this before, so this trip was much anticipated, deserved, and enjoyed!

We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo all to ourselves! It was amazing!!! We invited a ton of people to come, but no one could, so we enjoyed it with just the 2 of us! The kitchen!

We got to the resort late at night and got straight to bed. The next morning we woke up in time to catch the taxi to Wal-Mart! Let me just say that the Wal-Mart experience is 10 fold in Mexico! We did some shopping and checked out the town of Playa Del Carmen!

We did a little bit of shopping in this cute little shop down the street. Loved bargaining for the best deal!

 After getting our shopping done and doing some exploring, we headed back to the resort to check out the pool and beach! We had to walk down this path to get to the pool and beach area where the cabanas are and several restaurants!

 It was so much fun spending time with just the two of us! This almost never happens with 2 little rug rats!

 It was soooo nice just hanging out on the beach and reading a book...

 Our only complaint about our resort was that the beach was rocky and had a lot of coral. This made it difficult to walk right out into the ocean and enjoy the water. We found out if we walked 5-10 minutes down the beach there was a resort with great beaches, so we made the trek! And we were not disappointed!!!
