The days leading up to Halloween we attended a few parties for Halloween! On Friday we went to a party with some of our friends and had a great time! We all had to bring something to eat, so we brought this spookalicious 7 layer bean dip! I'm not creative by any means, so I was excited about it!
This year the boys didn't really have anything they really wanted to be for Halloween, so we just pulled out the costume bag from Auntie Kirstin and let the boys pick what they wanted to be. Austin chose to be Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc. Poor kid couldn't hardly see out of the costume, but refused to take it off!Ryan wanted to be a fireman! We had a lot of fun eating, visiting and playing at the party. They planned a pinata which the kids loved! I don't know if he could really even see what he was doing! Ryan got a few good swings in! The kids weren't able to bust it open, so the parents passed around the bat (and Scarlett) and each took a turn! The kids went crazy at first, but there was way more candy than there was of them. They finally got it all picked up! "Say CANDY!!!" ...Trunk-or-Treat...
On Saturday night we attended our Ward Trunk-or-Treat! Austin decided to change it up and dress as Sulley from Monster's Inc.!
Ryan decided to be pirate and wear the costume Auntie Kirstin made for him!
Justin was a pilot and I was his copilot, although we were mistaken for police officers the whole night! We had fun with the carnival games......enjoyed some delicious carnival food...
...and scored some treats at the Trunk-or-Treat!!!
