Although Ryan does seem to really like babies, I'm not too sure he's going to be able to handle one coming into his territory very well. At daycare there is a 2 month old baby who just started coming. Today, when the baby was crying, Ryan sat at the otherside of the room and covered his ears. Yes, he's in for a rude awakening if his little brother has lungs like he did as an infant. We're all very excited for this little boy's arrival (no he doesn't have a name yet)!

Growing every day!
I've had some requests for pictures of my growing belly. Here it is with 5 weeks to go! YEAHHHH!
Ryan has been preparing himeself as well! Big Brother in training I guess you could say. He's been practicing feeding, holding, and of course kissing the baby doll in preparation for his baby brother's arrival.

Justin's Big Project!
So we've been looking out our back windows at this for the past 7 months, and we decided that it's time for a change.
It turned out to be some abandoned electrical wires that were left buried. We didn't do any damage!
Justin decided that with the warm weather it would be a good time to dig out the sweatband. Like father like son!Ryan was, as always, a very big helper and enjoyed every second he spent outside with Daddy working in the backyard.
We'll keep you posted on the work that's being done. Justin has it all planned out, of course, but these plans seem like they're going to take us years to complete (and afford)!

Weekend with Auntie!
We spent this weekend visiting family in Loomis. Ryan had such a fun time bothering his Auntie Aubrey and her friends! Yes, he's already become quite the little ladies man!
We also enjoyed the beautiful California weather and spent some time at the park where Ryan climbed up everything (making Mommy very nervous)!

Our Handsome boy!
Could he be any cuter? We joke that we have such a cute little boy, how could this next one even compare! We know that he will be just as cute and great as Ryan is!

Fun visitors!
We are so blessed to have such a large and extended family! Ryan not only has both sets of Grandparents in his life, but two sets of Great Grandparents, and even a Great-Great Grandma! Today we were visited by Nana (Grandma Schmidt) and Great-Grandma Callaway (she really is great). We had a great time visiting at lunch, and Ryan enjoyed showing off with all of his toys.
Kisses for Great-Grandma!
Hugs for Nana!
This picture is just too cute for words! Ryan is enjoying some tunes on "Mommy's apod!"

Ryan the Lion!
Ryan got an adorable lion towel from Grandpa and Grandma for Christmas (Thank you!), but he will never use it properly. Tonight he finally did and had fun running around growling at Mommy and Daddy. That's been his thing lately, being a "scary lion!" Fitting since we discussed the story of Daniel and the Lion's Den in nursery on Sunday.
Ryan is such a joy! We are so excited that he will have a little brother on March 27th, and we're looking forward to the joys and challenges the new little one will bring! We will have our 2 sweet boys!
